Verified batch registry

What the laboratory found

Every result on this page comes from a vial bought at retail, stripped of identifying labels before it reached the laboratory, and assayed against a reference standard. Pass or fail, it is published.

No batches published yet — first blinded results in progress

This registry launches empty on purpose. Filling it with placeholder figures would make it worthless as a reference, so nothing appears here until a laboratory has returned a result. Get an email when the first batch publishes.

Methodology in brief

How a batch gets into this registry

  1. 01

    Blind retail purchase

The vial is bought from the vendor’s public storefront at full price, as an ordinary customer, with no notice to the vendor and no press or review account.

  2. 02

    Labels stripped

Identifying labels are removed and the sample is assigned an internal code before it reaches the laboratory. The analyst does not know which vendor supplied it.

  3. 03

    RP-HPLC in triplicate

Purity is measured by reverse-phase HPLC, run in triplicate against a reference standard for the compound.

  4. 04

    Published pass or fail

The result is published with claimed purity, measured purity, the delta, the method, the laboratory and the chain-of-custody note — whatever the number turns out to be.

Questions

About the registry

What does a published batch record contain?
The vendor, the compound, the lot number as printed on the vial, the purity the label or accompanying certificate claimed, the purity the laboratory measured, the delta between them, the analytical method, the laboratory that ran it, the date of testing, and a chain-of-custody note describing how the sample travelled.
Can a vendor pay to have a failing result withheld?
No. Results are published pass or fail. No commercial arrangement of any kind — affiliate participation, paid placement, or anything else — can cause a result to be withheld, delayed, softened or altered. This is stated in full on the methodology page.
What happens if VialPost gets a result wrong?
Corrections are published on the record itself, with the date and what changed, and the original figure stays visible. A result withdrawn entirely is marked as withdrawn rather than deleted.
Why is the registry empty right now?
Because no batch has completed testing and review. Vials are bought at retail like any other customer, which takes time, and results are not published before the laboratory has returned them. An empty registry is an accurate one.

Be told when the first batch publishes

One email when a batch result goes live or a tracked vendor's status changes. Nothing else.
